Race details

The Bath Half Marathon is one of the longest established and most popular city centre road events in the UK.  The course is suitable for all abilities, it is a two lap, flat course - ideal for beginners and those looking to beat their own personal best time.

The roads are also traffic free and often lined with plenty of supporters waiting to cheer you on!

The race starts and finishes in Great Pulteney Street, in the heart of the World Heritage City of Bath.

Your support will be put towards RICE's minimum £1.2m DementiaPlus Appeal - to expand and develop the RICE Centre and provide further innovative research, diagnosis, treatment and support for people with dementia. Your generosity will also help us to find more effective treatments and achieve our ultimate ambition of finding a cure for Alzheimer's disease and other dementias.

All RICE runners will receive a DementiaPlus running vest, guidance regarding sponsorship as well as plenty of support on the day!

The Bath Half Marathon is a fantastic opportunity for RICE supporters to raise vital funds.  We really appreciate the support from both runners and those who sponsor them.  This year we had 16 runners who between them have so far raised over £8,000!

The money that you raise for RICE will help improve the lives of people living with dementia and their carers through research, treatment and care.

Our support services are vital for people within Bath and the surrounding areas, whilst our research has both a national and international impact.
