We are looking for a registered adult nurse to assist in the Memory Clinic and with the Clinical Research Programme carried out at RICE.  Ideally you will have previous experience with patients in the older age group and in the field of dementia.  Experience in memory clinics or clinical trials would be an advantage although training will be provided.

The position is part of a multi-disciplinary team working across a range of clinical and research activities. You will see patients in the Memory Clinic and be involved in their assessment and management.  You will also work in the recruitment, screening and care of patients entering into clinical trials and will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clinical trials whereby you can make a valued contribution to increasing the number of patients taking part in research. The post requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work autonomously, as well as part of a team.

RICE is situated in the grounds of the RUH and has its own car park.  It is an independent dementia research charity and an internationally renowned centre for dementia research, diagnosis and treatment. Our research aims to find drug and non-drug treatments for people with dementia and other diseases predominantly affecting older people as well as providing support to them and their families and carers. In 2015 we embarked on an ambitious new phase of development that includes plans to increase significantly our clinical and academic research programme. We work closely with the Universities of Bath, Bristol and other research institutions.
